Description

As arts organizations, individuals, and artists emerge from a COVID-dominated world, how can we adjust to new realities and challenges? Join the MU Extension Community Arts Program for this Lunch-N-Learn educational series on best practices in arts planning for 2021.

The series continues in June, with a presentation on Thursday, June 17 on "Fiscal Sponsorships".
Intended outcomes include:

a) Learn what fiscal sponsorship is

b) Understand instances when it can be
useful, helpful, or necessary

c) See examples of fiscally sponsored
projects in Missouri and how the
process worked

d) Become aware of state and national
organizations that provide fiscal
sponsorship resources 

Presenters include:

Brigid Flynn and Liz Deichmann, MAPS (Midwest Artist Project Services), with responses by Michael Gaines, Hannibal Arts Council and Executive Director of MACAA (Missouri Association of Community Arts Agencies) and Gk Callahan, MU Extension Community Arts Specialist. 

This event is appropriate for anybody in the arts interested in learning about fiscal sponsorships, including: individual artists, venue or gallery personnel, event organizers or producers, managers or agents, and community arts practitioners. 

Event is FREE, but registration is required. Event will be held via Zoom, and link will be sent out to registered participants.
