Our technology specialists can help you assess the commercial viability of your intellectual property whether it originated from a business, university or federal lab. We can assist with manufacturing technology and processes, patents and trademarks as well as presentations to investors. The Missouri SBDC has held the technology commercialization accreditation since 2005.
The Missouri SBDC offers specially trained export specialists that can help your company grow revenues and create jobs by expanding into global markets. Through counseling and training the SBDC can assess your readiness to export, create an export plan, learn about export compliance and documentation, identify potential export markets and foreign trade partners and more.
SBDCs are a unique collaboration of SBA federal funds, state and local governments, and private sector resources. SBDCs provide a vast array of technical help to small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs. By supporting business growth, sustainability and enhancing the creation of new businesses entities, SBDCs foster local and regional economic development through job creation and retention. As a result of the extensive, one-to-one, long-term professional business advising, low-cost training and other specialized services SBDC clients receive, the program remains one of the nation’s largest small business assistance programs in the federal government.
