Occupational Safety and Health Administration Update
National safety standards continue to change and evolve as the way we work changes. Please join Brian Wood, local OSHA Compliance Assistance Specialist, as he provides an update on OSHA standards, along with time to answer workplace safety and procedural questions.
Brian is the Compliance Assistance Specialist and Labor Liaison for the OSHA Kansas City Regional Office and has been with the agency 9 years. Prior to joining OSHA, Brian worked as a union electrician and is still a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 725, out of Terre Haute, IN. Brian is also a member of the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE Local 1748) and the steward for the OSHA Kansas City Regional Office. Brian earned his bachelor’s degree in labor safety & health from the National Labor College and is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
