Your financial statements hold important information about your business—but they only help if you know how to read them. This class is designed to make financial reports easier to understand and less intimidating.

In Reading & Understanding Financial Statements, you’ll learn how to read an income statement and balance sheet and identify the numbers that matter most. The session focuses on what those numbers mean for your business, not accounting jargon.

Participants will learn how to calculate a few common financial ratios and, more importantly, understand what those ratios say about business performance, efficiency, and overall success. You’ll see how financial statements connect to real decisions, like managing expenses, pricing products, or planning for growth.

By the end of the session, you’ll feel more confident reading financial documents, asking better questions about your numbers, and using financial information to guide smarter business decisions.
